What do volunteers do?
Mentors
Our mentors range from teens to adults. The primary goal of a mentor is to be consistent and available during the hours of program to get to know and "learn to love what each participant likes!" Clearances are required prior to serving in this capacity.
Kitchen Volunteers
Our kitchen volunteers help prepare our breakfasts and lunches for each program week. You can choose which week you can serve and complete the volunteer form below, to make sure you are cleared prior to serving in the kitchen.
Club Leaders
Our club leaders get to take some of the interests of the participants and teach them the basic skills. If you want to plan out the activity each week, that is great! If you want to fill in a spot of a club leader who can't make it one week, that works too. The goal is to keep the participants engaged and expose them to some of their favorite things!
Our current clubs include: cooking, film making, video games, arts and crafts, sports, and sometimes crochet!
