COAL participants experience three transformative phases: ✅ Phase 1: Begins at Hope for Kids camp, where participants serve as full-time summer staff. They mentor youth, work alongside experienced ministers, and gain leadership experience through faith-based programs for families and young people. ✅ Phase 2: For nine months, participants train as ministry interns in select locations such as Gainesville, FL, Philadelphia, PA, or with RevivEE in Eastern Europe. They work in teams to build youth, campus, and young professional ministries, developing essential ministry and outreach skills. ✅ Phase 3: The final phase is an international mission experience, giving participants a taste of life as a missionary while serving in another country.
